  I came here last month after being diagnosed at another facility with diverticulitis. I was out of town and by the time I made it home I was was worse, so I came here to be admitted. The nurses in the ER were great and the doctor was really nice, and I was medicated with an anti inflammatory for pain. That did not work and I was informed by the doctor that I was on some list of patients that could not receive anything else for pain, so they could admit me, but I would remain in pain while I was there. Of course I decided to leave. By the time I was admitted to another facility, the diverticulitis actually had a small rupture, resulting in a week long hospital stay instead of just possibly overnight. I guess this is the hospital's way of saying they don't want to treat you anymore. I could see if I were being sent home, but I was being admitted. Pretty sad that I can't be treated at my local facility due to discrimination
